1- Working My Way Back Home

Key of E, standard tuning.
I learned this from a Big Creek Slim, a Danish bluesman. A refreshing way of playing in the key of E.
I transcribed the intro, first verse (lyrics under tab) and the solo.

2- Hesitation Blues/Do I Have to Wait*

Keys of G and C, standard tuning.
Based on the playing of Woody Mann, Rev. Gary Davis and with some Blind Blake trown in.  The first part is in the unusual key, for this song anyway, of G.  Later on it modulates smartly to C.  A very unique arrangement with lotsa double basses.  I transcribed the full song.

3- E-Street Blues*

Key of E, standard tuning.
Based on an improvised instrumental by Ari Eisinger.  I thought I'd seen it all in the key of E but this is a really refreshing take on some classic material.  I transcribed all the 7 passes.

4- Devil's Dream*

Key of F, standard tuning.
A Rev. Gary Davis instrumental in an arrangement by Gary Peterson.  He recorded three albums in France in the mid 70ies, returned to the US and never recorded again.  The albums are on YouTube, look him up, some gems to be discovered.  Fully transcribed.

5- Going Up The Country

Key of D, Drop D tuning.
A fingerpicked version of the Canned Heat hitsong (originally recorded by Henry Thomas in the 20ies). You'll have to capo really up high to make it sound good.I transcribed the first verse and the two solo's.  In the video I show a few variations.

6- The Nearness of You

Key of F, standard tuning.
I learned this beautiful arrangement by Jazz guitarist Frank Vignola.  The arrangement works with or without vocals.  Fully transcribed.

7- Yo Yo Blues

Key of E, standard tuning.
Blind Lemon Jefferson had a unique way of playing in the key of E.  This song is a fine example of that.  I transcribed the first verse (lyrics under tab) and the solo.

8- Tell Me Where You Stay Last Night

Key of D, Drop D tuning.
Mance Lipscomb didn't play very often in the key of D.  This is a powerhouse of a song, a pity he didn't explore this key more.  I transcribed the intro, first verse and both solo's.
